The only honey harvesting this summer is Saturday, June 20. We’ll have two sessions: 9-12 noon and noon-3 p.m., at the greenhouse behind the Franciscan Monastery (1400 Quincy St. NE, Washington, DC 20017).
UPDATE:THE MORNING SESSION IS FILLED. WE ONLY HAVE A FEW SLOTS AVAILABLE FOR THE AFTERNOON.
This is a hands-on workshop led by the Franciscan Monastery Garden Guild’s chief beekeeper Joe Bozik; each session is limited to 15 people. The $25 workshop fee includes one bottle of honey.
Because of limited space, reservations are required. Please email your name(s) and which session (morning or afternoon) to gardenguild@gmail.com.
