Please join us at the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land, 1400 Quincy St. NE, for the Blessing and Lighting of the Luminaria (everyone gets to join in the lighting!). This annual tradition is back (after a year off in 2020) on Chriastmas Eve, Dec. 24, 1 p.m.
We hope to see you there! The lights will remain lighted through New Year’s Eve. Each candle will have the name of a loved one, remembered in the friars’ prayers throughout Christmas Week.
The names also will be posted on this website, on our luminaria tribute page, by Dec. 24.
