The greenhouse and gardens at the Franciscan Monastery are always blooming somewhere even on this near freezing cold day in February. I found this beatify little grouping of succulents wintering over in the greenhouse. The amazing pink flowers contrasting against the many shades of greens are a nice reminder of how each season holds a surprise. If you love gardening, we are always seeking new members and offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities. Contact us for more information
MissionOur purpose is to preserve and promote the gardens at the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land, and to support people in need in our community with produce grown in Fr. Francis’ garden, in keeping with the Franciscan tradition that God is revealed to us through his creations.
